Hello #TeamLovely! Today's video is all about how I put in Marley twists. This is my first time wearing Marley twists let alone putting them in myself and I love the style. I used Freetress's Jamaican Twist Braid hair in the color 1B.
1. braiding hair
2. rattail parting comb
3. shea butter or Shine n Jam
When I put in Marley twits I always make sure I use very little tension so that I keep my hair healthy and strong. If the style is too tight I risk getting scalp bumps, broken hair, balding and mid-shaft splits. Here are different braid styles and twist styles that I've done that can be done on my Marley twists. One thing I love about Marley twists is that the style isn't as heavy on my head and neck as box braids are. Enjoy the video and the style!
